    Chef Adam and staff served a beautiful Valentines dinner.
    We had the lobster, it was cooked perfectly and the rest of the dinner was wonderful also.
    Lobster bisque, spinach strawberry salad and fresh veggies. Finishing with a bread pudding bar for
    He has stepped up the menu and creating some new dinners that are so good. From prime beef steaks to black bass. We love it.

    I purchased a five year plan to stay and play at Refuge RV including  10 rounds of golf. It was for one week a year including 2 rounds of golf per year. That year the owner lost his permit to allow motorhomes on his property. I respectfully requested a refund for the 1200.00 I requested it It both in writing and with many phone calls. The owner refused to return my calls or to refund my money. Do not do business with these unscrupulous people.

    RV service was horrible. There is none. Andrew Matt didn't even work. Overpriced, and no view of the lake like we were promised when we called over the phone. The woman over the phone was not helpful whatsoever. We were the only ones there when we got there.

    Would not recommend, would recommend buying a house here however.

    Good layout... not great.
      Food service is outstanding! Friendly staff.

    BUT... the green fees were way too costly for the condition of the course.
        Greens were fine... fairways generally OK, but spotty... the big detractor was the bunkers - they were the worst ever! Mud, not sand. Simply power raking each day would help mitigate; but rebuild with well engineered drainage should be a must!

    I doubt I will return - certainly not at the price.

    Had a meal for 6 out on the deck after golf.
    My wife said fish and chips were excellent.  Not always easy to find in AZ desert.  
    Everyone enjoyed their meals.  
    The young tall waiter was great also trying very hard and doing a great job.

    Looks like the Refuge has really upped their restaurant delivery.  

    Just wished the golf course was in the same shape.
